BHS CPD Day – A Holistic Approach to Training

Monday 25th March 2019 9.30am – 5pm
BTRC, Whinney Hill, Aughton Road, Halton LA2 6PQ

The age old saying ‘Horses for courses’ still stands the tests of time, but how carefully do we assess the needs of our horses for the job we are asking them to do? Together with the BHS North West we hope to bring you a fascinating day of training covering:

  • Initial assessments
  • Diagnosis – identifying pain or behaviour
  • Suitable training for realistic goals
  • Sustainability – effective maintenance

Receive expert knowledge from Gordon Sidlow (BVMS MRCVS), FEI 5* Vet and Gillian Carlisle, BTRC CEO (BHSII, SM) along with experts in nutrition and farriery. This counts as CPD for BHS APC’s.
